For all the wrestling fans out there, today marks the birthday of Mark Callaway, better known as The Undertaker, who was born in 1965.

The Undertaker is one of wrestling's most highly regarded and seasoned wrestlers, debuting under The Undertaker moniker on November 19th, 1990, meaning Mark has been wrestling as the dead man for 30 years. He also held the record of "The Streak", a 21 in-a-row streak of victories at Wrestlemania, which was finally broken by Brock Lesnar in 2014. He was also one of the big names during the Attitude Era, aided by his character's horror and supernatural themes.

Say what you want about wrastlin', such as how it's all faked and about on par with soap operas story wise, you cannot deny The Undertaker always put on standout shows and was a posterchild for what made wrestling so much fun - the giddily dumb storylines, the batshit publicity stunts engineered to hype the crowds, and the sheer danger that came from the REAL side of the "sport". Remember when Undertaker smashed Mankind through the top of the cage in their Hell in the Cell match? The punches might be thrown and the outcome is pre-planned, but there ain't nothing fake about seeing two dudes plummeting to their almost certain death and then continuing with their match without breaking character!

Those are the kind've moments that spell out what makes wrestling entertaining, and in almost every notable moment you'll find The Undertaker.

What else makes The Undertaker so rad? He also appeared alongside the cast of Surf's Up, Scooby Doo, and The Flintstones in each of their WWE crossovers. A definite highlight of any wrestler's career, surely.
