What's happening today? Nothing exciting, except for Mr. T's birthday, who was born on the 21st May 1952.
Mr. T started working life as a bouncer, during which time he was involved in over 200 altercations. It was during this time he begun collecting all of his gold chains, which he collected from the people he threw out or beat up. Mr. T then ascended to a more prolific job based on hitting people - he became a bodyguard. He worked with Muhammad Ali, Steve McQueen, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross during his stint. He also guarded three politicians, five preachers, and sixteen prostitutes, though not all at the same time.
One day, while competing in America's Toughest Bouncers, Mr. T was spotted by Sylvester Stallone, who got him the gig as Clubber Lang in Rocky III. From there Mr. T became even more famous with his role as B.A in The A-Team, and had a brief run with the WWF. He also had his own You've Been Framed-esque show called Mr T's Fools, and his did that WoW advert that time. You know the one. And he had a cereal.
Mr. T, it must be said, is pretty bad ass. He won America's Toughest Bouncer twice, cut down 70 trees in four and a half hours, beat cancer, named one of his kids T Junior, and one time while he was bodyguarding some dude offered him $75,000 to assassinate a guy, but he said no.
Mr. T, have a great birthday, you.
