Written, starring and directed by Neil Breen.

Now don’t we all just love a good bad movie? You know a film set out with every intention to be good, but falls flat on its face with hilarous results? Now before I start I am going to make a pretty bold statement here. I think this film is worse than the widely loved “The Room“. Yes that’s right I said it. Worse than The Room.

So what could it possibly be about?

As a small boy Dylan discovers some pretty weird and mysterious powers whilst out playing. As he gets older he becomes a computer scientist hacking government secrets. Oh and he is also an acclaimed novelist (you read it correctly) After an accident Dylan is reunited with his childhood sweetheart whilst on his deathbed. The mystical powers come to light to prevent him revealing the secrets he has uncovered hacking computers.

“I cannot believe you commited suicide”

I’ll just stop now. I could say more but you’d probably not believe me. What the fuck you might think? (Watch it and you will for sure think that a lot) The film is awful. It starts as you’d imagine a film of this nature would, bad camera work, terrible backing music and the whole written, starring , produced and directed by (insert name here) bla bla.

Watching this with me was my girlfriend (poor woman, she was just as mortified as me) After I was recommended this by a work friend of mine, who also said he thought it was worse than “The Room“ I went home and told her about it. Curious indeed we both were. Regretful even more so after about less than half an hour watching.

The Room 2003. Has it finally met its match?

Again this film is something you just have to see to believe. When watching it all I really wanted to do was turn the damn thing over, but I was so compelled at how awful it was, like everything about it was just so bad. Filled to the brim with non-sensical plot, worse acting than an ITV soap Opera, but again, I just could not stop.

I wanted to know just how this could end? And would it ever end? Watching I kept thinking is this done on purpose? Is this just a bunch of friends doing something in the vain of Black Dynamite? (For the record Black Dynamite is fantastic, definitely check that out)

But no, sadly not it’s just pure and simple, it’s BAD. But that’s what makes it great. Would I suggest watching it? You are god damn right I would. Just laugh at how seriously the whole cast are trying to be speaking ridiculous lines. How much damage a laptop can take and a finale most fitting.

Wait a minute. Don’t Laptops need to be switched on to work?.

I could go in depth about the movie, but I don’t think I have the time nor the mental strength. Just make a note to add this to your good bad movie list. Lastly if Fateful Findings is not enough you’ll be pleased to know Neil Breen has four other features also, the latest released November 2018. Do I smell a formula here? Maybe he thinks his work is genuinely good and keeps funding them? Or maybe he is actually just doing this and it’s all a joke? I guess we will never ever know. If so the joke is on us.

Well that’s all for tonight folks. I hope 2019 has you smiling like Neil is right here and wish you all the best for the new year. I cannot believe I did not commit suicide watching Fateful Findings. Hmmmm.
